Art's art gallery opened 2013 with a compilation of some older and current work. Art started out doing oils in New York in the early 70's, then relocated to Naramata B.C. in the Okanagan and continued with a series of oils winning a first and second in an Okanagan jury show. After relocating to Vancouver, Art went to an Emily Carr exhibit and was inspired to put more paint to canvas. The environment is a personal passion and a key factor in some of his work. He draws on inspiration from some iconic Canadian painters. His goal is to ensnare the viewer into a prolonged look within the depth of the work, challenging what lies within the imagination.
